Timeline — control the workload of employees and departments on one screen

Timeline is a visualization of current tasks and business processes of the organization over time. The tasks of each employee, as well as whatever processes they are involved in — a project, on vacation, on a business trip — are displayed as a timeline with a start date and an end date.

Tasks are reflected in Timeline if the form has a Due Date type field and it is filled out.

Note: you can set Due Date a with an interval in a forn Configure section.

To group tasks by employees, it is necessary to add a Contact type field to the form template. If there are several such fields in the template, they will be grouped by employee, in the order they were added to the template.

More about form field types

Timeline is a convenient way for managers to plan their employees' workload, taking into account factors like their vacation schedules.

Or, suppose your customer service employees regularly go on business trips to train partner companies or for negotiations with potential partners. It’s very convenient for you to see their workload for a given period on a single screen, in a compact and visualized format.

How to view Timeline

To open Timeline, open the form and click the Timeline tab in the top panel.

Specify the period to be displayed: in the upper right corner of the screen, select the format — months or days.

Then, in the Filters block, select the desired department.

Note: to group tasks by the departments in your organization, you need to set up the organizational structure.

Tasks can be opened right from the timeline with one click to quickly clarify project details, type of leave, distance and complexity of a business trip, and so on.
