What permissions are required to work with bots

To create and manage bots, the user must have Configuration Manager rights. This is sufficient for configuring any organization bot, as well as creating, blocking, and enabling/disabling bots. If the user does not have this access, the Bots tab is not available to them.

All necessary rights can be granted to the user on their profile page.

An employee with Configuration Manager rights can also assign an administrator to the bot.

The bot administrator will be able to:

  • change the bot's settings, including the secret key;
  • add and remove other bot administrators.

The Bot administrator will not be able to change the bot's rights as an organization user.

To assign a Bot administrator, go to the organization's bot list.

Select the desired bot.

On the bot’s page, click Edit profile.

Assign administrators and click Save.
